Question Dealer Incentives increased recently on F150?

Excpecting delivery any day now of a 2001
F150 S/C 4X4. I was aware of the $500 rebate
that has been offered for a while now but
recently went to cars direct and now find
they also offer a Manufacture to Dealer
rebate as well-No $ amount given. I called
dealer about this and He was not aware of any
newer rebates only the $500 rebate but said He would check up on this.

Does anyone know the real deal?

New to the Board and eagerly waiting for my new truck.

Thanks to all for any info

Cool

Hey there-

I just bought my '01 here in San Diego. My truck had a msrp of 27,000, and I received the $500 rebate. However, due to dealer incentives, the truck was discounted another
*** $4000 ***
So be careful! I'm not sure of the incentive
amount, but it's a lot- dealers don't normally sell that far back of invoice.

Basically, with the option discount on just about every F-150 (air, atc.) your crazy if
you don't get at least $5000 of of sticker.
DON'T GET "FULL POPPED"! Have fun...

I so far have received about $3,500 off the
MSRP plus the rebate. But I belive there is at least another $500 or more that should
come off with these new incentives. I'll check up on things tommorow

Cool

Yep They have increased the Customer cash
from $500 to $1000 and also have new dealer
cash back of $750.

My truck has been delayed because it has been
most likely been sitting at some distribution center and cannot be located
according to the dealer. If I had taken delivey 2 weeks ago when they had originally
had expected it in I would have missed out
on the increase in incentives which I'm very happy for but on the other hand who knows when if ever the vehicle is located???

Check edmunds.com for up to date info. They show both dealer and consumer rebates/incentives, plus current factory financing deals. Many times the factory incentives/rebates, etc,. vary by region. edmunds.com allows you to get the info for your specific area.
