I think I'm going to jump on this e-fan idea this summer. I've been reading a lot of these e-fan threads here, and I'm stuck between the Jusnes kit and the Mad Enterprises kit. I like the reliability factor of having dual fans (although the Motorcraft RF 86 fan from Mad is supposedly pretty reliable), but I'm also concerned about the efficiency of keeping the fan shroud (Jusnes kit eliminates it).
So my question is what does everyone think is more imporant: efficiency of keeping the fan shroud (Mad Enterprises kit) or reliability of dual fans (Jusnes or Troyer Perf kit)?
BTW my truck is an 02 Supercrew FX4 w/ 4.6L engine w/ 38,000 miles on it. I only tow a few times a year, so this isn't a primary concern. I'm just looking for reliable performance on a daily basis.
