This might be a dumb question but?
I never hooked any wiring to a automobile fuse box.
I wired a many house fuse boxes but never a car fuse box.

I need to hook a wire into the accessory fuse for my back up camera.
How is this done?
I found the fuse I need to hook into but how do I hook the wire into it?

 

The easiest way to do it would be to use a fuse tap. It's almost "J" shaped, you pull out the spade type fuse, slip the bottom portion of the "J" into the fuse box opening and stick the fuse back in. You can push a female style spade connector onto the top of the "J".

 

There also is an item that I think is called "add a fuse". Basically what it is it is a device that will plug into the position of in this case your accessory fuse. Then it has two slots, one for the accessory fuse that you plugged the device into and a second one that you plug the fuse into for the item that you are trying to run power to, in this case your backup camera. It has a short wire pigtail on it that you can then connect to your wire that you want to supply power to. I have seen them at Auto Zone for about $7.
