Academy raceway tonight

Anyone who wants to come see some good runs, the track near Temple, Tx is having a truck shootout tonight.

BTW im supposed to run, anyone have any suggestions, or want to guess what my ET will be?

Well, that all depends on if the track's 1/8 or 1/4 mile.

All runs done at night between 60-55*
my last run i would have won but i spun the hell out of it, and ended up with a 1.3806 Reaction

Dude i've had a run out at TAD where I didn't spin the hell out of the tires. the last time I ran I was still spinning at the 60ft mark. Not bad though my best time was a 14.8 bone stock and my wife pulled off a 14.9 (that was in the Harley Truck) I hope to tpuch the 14's with the Lariat after some engine upgrades and a rebuild.

Yah i really wanted to win my last race, b.c i know i could have, i just had a ****ty launch, and it was getting colder through the night, so it was getting harder too

but thanks guys, i wish paul could have video-ed some of my runs from the outside, but I still had a blast

14.4457 @ 93.26 that was a cam/gear/running open Y on headers 5.3 ext cab i dont remember what else he has done

Hey Pat... I'm from Academy. Home of the Bumblebees! My whole family is from there and I have spent some time at the strip there. Best part? At the end of the track you can stop in and have a cold beer and shoot some pool at Jerry's. The little bar at the end is a dive but it's been there long before we were ever born. My dad used to work/race at the strip and he would go in the bar after hours to drink after he got off from the track.
