I've narrowed down the tonneau cover to two different setups. The Truxedo LoPro and the Bakflip.

The LoPro is a quality unit no doubt in my mind and is $100+ cheaper to boot. However, I really like the hard cover, fast roll up the Bakflip offers.

What would you guys do?

 

I just installed a Truxedo Plus and it seems like a nicely built unit. I really wanted a toolbox and a tonneau cover, this gives you both.

 

I've been looking for one too...

So far the one I'm leaning towards is this one - www.armorroll.com .

Pricey though - $1400 Canadian (about $1250 USD)

Go with the Truxedo Lo Pro! That's what I got. Great cover. Check out www.truckalterations.com for the best price around. Also, you can check out my gallery for tonneau pics!

 

Out of those two, go with the Lo-Pro.

I just installed the truxedo lo pro today! I was really looking for a cheaper tonneau but when i started comparing the cheaper tonneaus to this on i decided to pay the extra $$$, it even come with a life time warranty.

You might want to take a look at the Sportmaster roll-up. I park my truck outside in Michigan and it still looks new after 4 years. I love the way it sits over the bed and always looks nice and even. I paid around $300.00 for it. A couple friends of mine purchased the Truxedo around the same time and they never looked as good. Keep in mind that I'm talking about the original roll-up Truxedo not the new low-pro. I've got a great picture of mine but can't figure out how to get it on here! I can E-mail it.

I've had Access Cover on my Ranger no problems whatso ever, even used it in the winter without even thinking of problems. I plan to have a Access Toolbox Edition on my F-150. Gives me the choice of toolbox I want. http://www.agricover.com/index.php/p.../category/C31/

I vote for the Truxedo Lo Pro. It sits nice and flush with the bed, and has no snaps. It even has a tension controller to keep it nice and tight. I couldn't be more pleased with mine, and it was only $350 shipped. Here are some pics:

 

Before I got a cover I did allot of research because in the past I've had full toppers which are great but expensive, fiberglass toneaus which are good looking and very secure but can be a pain if you use your truck to haul anything, rolll up metal type which are great when they work but take up about a foot of bed space and the flip type which I would never but again.

The Truxedo Low Pro and the Access Lorado are basiclly the same thing, both very good in quality, warranty and looks. I went the Lorado just because at the time it was on sale, so far I am very pleased. If you haul stuff and don't need a super secure cover, you can't go wrong with the Lo Pro or Larado cover.

 

I went with the access lite rider, it is very sturdy and it keeps out the elements. I coupled that with a bedrug liner. It is great for camping boating and most of the the other outdoor stuff I do. Plus it gives me some security as it is not removable (easily) with the tailgate up.
