Simple guide to improve your truck's photos

Hi

I tought it could be useful for some one if I share some trick I use to improve my pictures quality.
I used Macromedia Fireworks, you can download a demo at http://www.macromedia.com.
but these are just Basic Photos editing functions that almost any Photo Editor has.
You can search for other editors http://www.download.com

1 - Take your pictures using zoom. If you don't have a tripod, hold your camera as still as possible, keep your elbows/arms close(sticked) to your body while holding you camera in front of your face. When using zoom the images shake a lot more.(don't even breath)

2.- Download pictures into your PC
3.- With Fireworks:
- Filters / Adjust color / Auto levels
- Filters / Sharpen / Sharpen
- Filters / Adjust color / Levels...
-- Here you just move the arrows until you like what you see.

4.- File / Export Preview
- Select JPG
- Click Export and save

That's it.

Excellent tips. I use Adobe Photoshop to do the same things. Sometimes I forget to do it though. I've also used the blur tool to erase some bugs off the bumper before.

Is that supposed to be "without zoom"? Just curious why you'd want to use zoom if not necessary. I never use digital zoom as it pixelates my pics, optical zoom is usually ok though.

Good tips, Giorgio your pics are always rockin and that truck is way too clean!

Ha , sorry, I'm gonna answer this question after some months...

Yes, I meant to use zoom, and because of that.. the image will be more shaky.., so you need to be mor still.
The zoom is for avoiding that effect of angle that deforms your truck, so it helps you see the truck's design like it really is.

Standing like 15' away from your truck, you will see it in a certain way...
If you stand 30' or 40' away you will not only see it "smaller" but different...
All its elements size(tail, front, tires, etc.) will be more equivalent to each other, so with the zoom you "get close" without standing close.

If you stand too close to your truck you will see its front headlight almost as big as the rear tire.

Sorry about my english
