2015 F150, 3.31 gears?
I am buying a Ford F150 truck with 3.31 gears and a 5.0L engine. it is rated to tow 9100 lbs. My reason for getting 3.31's is I hardly ever tow anything other than 1.)My fishing boat and 2) My ultra lite travel trailer which is 4020# GVWR with a hitch weight of 330. If I upgrade trailers in the future the heaviest I would go is 5000#. My question is will I regret 3.31 gears? Anyone with experience with this gearing. Thanks.

As glc states, it will downshift and it has to be up there in the RPM band to keep that trailer moving. Which is probably not a bad thing.
I think these new trucks have the manual mode, so if you want to kind of control the shifting, you can on the stalk or the console shifter. I'd just hook the trailer up and let the truck do it's thing.
