Do they still make supercab w/8' box?

I recently spoke with a Ford factory rep at our state fair who said that you could no longer get this configuration. However I can build one online which he also insisted couldn't be done. Does anyone know?
The other thing is that i've been searching dealerships online for new or even newer used and they're impossible to find. If you find one it's mislabeled and not an 8' box. I know these are rare but any suggestions on how/where to search? I've tried everything.

2015 Build and Price shows it's available in XL, XLT, and Lariat.

He may have been referring to the frame supply issues that have happened this year. Apparently Ford cancelled all open orders for certain truck configurations, such as the supercab 8 foot bed.

I highly doubt that these won't be available in the future but anything is possible. Also shows you that a Ford rep isn't any swifter than some of the "highly" skilled folks who try to sell vehicles. That said, there are some sales folks that really know the ins and outs of the products they sell.

Thanks for the replies. After posting went to Ford site and "build your own" looked different then just a few weeks ago. One thing different and as glc mentioned is that configuration is available in lariat. Previously only available in XL and XLT.
Another question i have is how to do a search for a newer model used truck in this configuration. I have tried searching by wheel base and a variety of key words and they just don't come up. I know they are rare but does anyone know if there's a way to blanket search dealerships for this rare configuration?

It's available, but I'm pretty sure they didnt actually BUILD any 2015's in this config. NEVER saw one. You can search inventory online and I NEVER saw one when searching.

But don't listen to dealers, they don't know crap. One told me they did not make a supercrew in 6.5' bed. I showed him one in the online inventory search.

Yes I definitely no better than to trust dealers particularly salesman. Generally I feel i'm better educated on their product then they are. I once had a salesman insist I could order a f150 in the configuration we're talking about in a Lariat when I knew you couldn't that year. I hate salesman who don't know their product. Just shows you they're not really interested in anything other than their commission.

I like my extended cab with an 8 foot bed... if I were to get another f150 I would like to get it that way but you cant get one in a lariat, fx4 or platinum which sucks...

Starting with 2015, you can again get the Supercab with 8' bed in Lariat trim. You could not 2004-2014. At least in the U.S. In Canada, they had 2004, 2005 at least, maybe all 2004-2014 available in Lariat. Someone on the forum had one and posted about it in the 2004-2008 forum.

No one pays that 51 grand, I ordered a brand new truck and its almost 10k dollars off with current incentives With the way these newer trucks are holding their value and with how little miles I drive, I will get a lot of my money back if and when I sell

I still think that it is nice to miss out on that initial depreciation as soon as you leave the lot it loses value... anyway I think im gonna hold out for a 2017 superduty so around 2019 I can maybe find one of those used and by then maybe I will actually need a new truck rather than just want one...
