You have to be a member of Disabled American Veterans to use this code to get x plan discounts and added incentives. When vehicle is purchased you need to show dealer Proof of membership.. I am a member and do use this discount. Thank you for your service brother!

Actually if you show proof of being a disabled vet, like the cover letter you have when they approve your disability rating then that is sufficient enough evidence as well. Also in Cali if you are a disabled vet you are not required to pay registration on 1 personal vehicle that is not for hire or work. And you are welcome for the service, thank you for your service as well!

Initial MSRP for my SuperCrew 4X4 XLT 5.0 was $50,305. Selling price was $36,816 after all factory/package/dealer/credit discounts. Tried to post an image of the webpage that a captured, but I think it is waiting for mod approval since I am new.

Yep, your post was trapped by the spam screen. It has been released. Great deal on the truck.

Thanks.

The MSRP is a little misleading, because it is before the $2000 package discount, but I still think it was a pretty decent deal.

I suspected that was the case, but still an excellent deal.

$499. Out the door price was $37,669. That included taxes/tags/doc fees/everything. Straight sale with no trade.

They got you good on the doc fee. Should have been $100 or less, but otherwise looks like a decent deal.

Do you not have sales tax? Because 37,669-36,800-499 = 370 for tags and taxes. That won't cover much for taxes. Here, I'd have another $1500 bill for sales tax on top of that.

I knew it was high, but I felt the amount off MSRP more than made up for it. And they weren't going to lower it. Plus, it was the color combo I wanted (silver/tan cloth interior) crew cab 5.0 with the 20" wheels I wanted and the center console. Also had the touch screen sync without nav. Only thing I wanted that I didn't get was big gas tank. Not easy to find. Wasn't going to risk missing out on it and the huge discount over a few hundred bucks. Even with the doc fee, it was $13,000 off "MSRP" or $11000 off MSRP that included the package discount.

As for the sales tax, South Carolina has a $300 max for sales tax.

Oh yeah, I understand. You did pretty well.

I wish our sales tax had a cap like that! Dang, that's awesome! Oh well, like the doc fee for the dealer, the gov makes up for it elsewhere I'm sure!
