Rather anti-climatic.

It does look cool though.

 

What were you expecting? Special News = Special Edition. This is going to be one of those packges where most people say they hate and then when the first person posts pics of his in the forum they will say how nice his truck is. Me personally I wouldn't buy it like you said it looks cool and the darkened headlights should extend to other models.

 

to me it looks like a us government vehicle I drove while in the navy. Everything painted gunmetal grey.

 

If you liked the Tremor but not a regular cab, you'll like this 2016 SE.

"The new SE Package also requires the XLT or Lariat be ordered with the existing Sport Appearance Package, and adds 20-inch anodized aluminum wheels with sport lettering, smoked headlamps, unique body-side graphics, SE seats with red Alcantara inserts, a stitched steering wheel and transmission gear selector, and a unique instrument panel. The SE package is further distinguished from other models by a blackened mesh grille on XLT models and a dark anodized dual-slat (red and black) grille on Lariat models. The new SE offers a sportier look reminiscent of the 2014 Ford Tremor; however, that particular pickup was offered in only regular-cab configurations, while the new SE model will be offered in all three cab setups."

 

That's a new color, Lithium Gray. It replaces Guard. It will be interesting to see it in person.

 

Need to see if bucket seats and a console make it to the regular cab.

 

I thought at first the grill had LED lighting in it. Can't quite say I am fond of it, then again I still am not fond of the new model, still getting used to it.

 

Eh, I ain't liking that look. But, you do understand that I'm a geezer.

 

Please put a crossbar on the bottom of that hideous grille Ford!!! Please!!! It looks "ok" when it's painted to match the body, but when it's chrome as part of the chrome package, it completely ruins an otherwise beautiful truck.

 

Appearance aside, is there any news as to when Ford will integrate the 10-speed into the F150?
