Heartthrob Exhaust for 2015 F150

Heartthrob Exhaust for 2015 F150
This cat-back exhaust kit starts at the 2-bolt flange after the converters, runs 3" single and expanding up to 4" into the specially tuned 4" in/out fully welded muffler and a 4" single exit near the stock location. Aluminized steel mandrel bent design, hangers, hardware, all tube, muffler and accuseal clamps are included. Great power and a neat sound out of the EcoBoost® 3.5L V6 and a more aggressive sound out of the 5.0L V8.

I'd hope by now the aftermarket would produce higher quality products out of better materials than the stock part. Aluminized steel...tisk tisk.

If it keeps the price down and the stock ones are expected to last the duration of the vehicle why wont this one?

Who cares if it does not look great, all it has to do is sound great.

Bingo! The stock exhaust is stainless, why would anyone want to downgrade the exhaust for that heartthrob crap. That aluminized crap wouldn't last 2 years around northern Ohio before it rotted out and had to be replaced.

Most stock exhausts now a days are 409 SS but I think some companies use aluminized steel. I think Nissan and Toyota because they rust at the exhaust flanges. Cheap corner cutting to sell volume.

I'm finding that a lot of the exhaust for the new 2015 sound great when installed on a 5.0L and not as good on the 2.7L or the 3.5L EcoBoost engines

This is also true of the stock exhaust. The 5.0 sounds terrific. The others, not so much. Here's hoping for more than one reason that the V8 is here to stay.

I said this in another thread a while back: the engineers are going to have to tune the engine and exhaust. Its doable. There's a reason a Porsche 6 sounds so unique and why a mustang always sounds like a mustang. Mod motor or pushrod. One exhaust doesn't fit all. Corsa is the only one I think that is bearable.
