Newbie to forum. 2015 XL Sport on order

Back end of October I ordered a 2015 Reg Cab Short Bed 4x2 Sport with a
2.7L Eco

A pretty loaded up for a XL.

Truck is black and with the XL package thought it looked great all blacked out.
2nd is XLT in Red.

I do have VIN and build date for week of January 26th.

Ordered a 2nd Truck Nov 3rd it does not have VIN or scheduled build yet.

I will be only taking one of the 2 trucks. It all depends on what type rebates at the time and what the gray interior looks like on the black truck. If its not very dark gray (no black or tan avail) I will probably just get the Race Red one instead.

The XL sport are nice - pretty much the STX replacement. Everything you need.
A 2x4 RCSB with a 2.7tt should be a ROCKET. hope you enjoy it.

Can't wait to see some of the "Sport Packages." I've searched for videos on the XL's, but they are hard to come by right now.

I do not think any Regular cabs are in production yet.

I also wanted some pretty specific options.

Even though I live in the land of sunshine 4x4's seem to be more common in late model stuff. Do not understand as 80% never leave the blacktop.

Not only that but I am not ready to buy today. I need to sell off a bunch of stuff before i could purchase. Its going to take a month or more yet for that to happen.

Trying to sell items in today's market not so easy.

Exactly what I was thinking!

Great performance and great MPG. The plan is not to have it as a daily driver but to do more mods for Performance and MPG gains. I would expect the mileage will be under 7500 miles per year.

The ecoboost engine swap truck will be my daily driver.

If I'm not mistaken all Regular Cabs are built in Kansas City which is still undergoing the changeover to build the '15s

As dearbornderek said they are also built in Dearborn.

My truck has a dearborn VIN

Scheduled build is week of January 26th

The other Sport pretty much same truck but XLT has no VIN yet and ordered only a few days later.

I saw this truck at the local dealership this past weekend. Very nice, looks like a FX4.

Just curious, did you order two from the same dealer, or different dealers? And did you put any money down, and how much?

How are you ordering these? I went to Ford.com and built my own but I didn't see a way to order it. Is there another site?

You have to order from a Ford dealer.

Hey, folks!

Don't forget that I'm happy to provide you with updates on your truck orders. Just send me a PM with your order number and dealer name/location; I'll do the rest!
