delay delivery of the 2015 f150, why
Ford what is the deal, I put my deposit down almost two months ago when your site opened to price and order them?- I have been buying Only ford f150 4x4 crew cabs now since 2000, i have a 2012 to trade in. I took the test drive here in austin at the MC Coys lumber store and it was way to short, only got to drive it around the block however i did like every thing about it. my order number is 1111 priority 20-- dealer F52302-- A fully loaded platinum like the fully loaded 2012 i have now..I finally got the info on when the build date was jan 15th -- yesterday -- i also heard that some of the 2015 that had been delivered to the dealers were being picked back up by the factory----
so now i have two concerns why so long to get mine and secondly what is the problem with the ones being picked back up--- I also see ton's of 2014 f150 filling up the dealerships lots--- so come on as a die hard customer with over a dozen new ford purchases since 2002 whats up with this new 2015

This is the roll-out of what is essentially an all new truck -- it's not going to be a seamless transition from one production year to the next. I'd also expect there to be a few bumps along the way with callbacks and the like -- buying the first production year of a new model is always a bit of a crapshoot!
I actually wish I was in the market for a new truck -- I'm thinking you should be able to nab some pretty good deals on the 2014's once the new trucks start showing up at the dealerships!
