2015 F150 build and price now available on Ford's site

Just discovered I could build a 2015 F150 on Ford's website. Although it wouldn't let be build a Platinum with the FX4 and max tow options. So doesn't appear to be working completely right.

Mobile site I used (scroll to the bottom for build and price):

Great find!!!

I had the same issue on all 3 builders trying to add FX4 with Max Tow.

The FX4 pkg comes with 3.31s or 3.73s. But the Max Tow pkg (w/o HD Payload) only comes with 3.55s.

Come on Ford, we need FX4 with Max Tow!

PS Here's a pic of my Lariat build with an 8' Bed.

You're in luck. Twin panel moonroof is available with Max Tow.

But FX4 pkg with Max Tow is not. Why would Ford do that?

Ford likes to throw a curveball like that.

My local dealer built a SuperCab Lariat with FX4 and Max Trailer tow. I tried to duplicate his build with the online tools, but ran into the same problems you guys are citing. I hope this means that the problem is with the online tools and that my dealer got it right (since that would make the most sense). Especially since I placed the order! I would post a copy of the build sheet the dealer compiled, but I cannot figure out how to post images on this forum.

The truck I want is over 53 grand =(

I just want the freaking LED headlights I'm kinda pissed off that they do not allow it as an option. Or the base should at least be projectors, I'm tired of crappy halogen lights.

44,560 for a 2wd XLT sport with 3.5 eb/3.55 rearend 302a package..

I also Priced a Single Cab XL Sport 2.7 Eb with a few extras for $31,800

Maybe within the next year the prices will go down with rebates etc.. No way im paying 32k for a no frills Xl truck

The 2015 XL is no longer a no frills truck. On the XL package, adding the Sport Appearance Package gives it the look similar to the 2014 STX which was no slouch. The 2.7 EB is a semi-premium engine with Auto Start Stop.

In comparison, a 2014 STX Regular Cab 5.0 3.55 rear and 201A package is $31,810.

If you're saying wait for incentives, I agree. But the starting price is right and the XL is not like the recent past XL with no frills.

They still don't have the payload numbers for the 3.5 EB configurations.

Anyone heard when they're going to make those public?

Yep, must be an error with the online tool. Because in this video a guy is using a 2015 F-150 with FX4 package to tow over 11,000 lbs of hay! It must have Max Tow with that kind of weight.

Soon, I heard the "first drives" will be published at midnight Monday October 6th. They'll probably release the tow numbers on that same day.
