Yep, must be an error with the online tool. Because in this video a guy is using a 2015 F-150 with FX4 package to tow over 11,000 lbs of hay! It must have Max Tow with that kind of weight.

Soon, I heard the "first drives" will be published at midnight Monday October 6th. They'll probably release the tow numbers on that same day.

I am shocked how much they are now vs a 2014 FX4 loaded with everything for only 38k ..... the similar lariat 2015 is close to 55k

Biggest change is now the FX4 is not a trim package and we need to go with a Lariat to get the same creature comforts as the FX4 had. That jacks the price up.

That's why the build price came to 59K. A lariat 502A with sport and fx4 packs is pretty close to a fx4 luxury (402A)

Your 2013 is more in between a 2015 XLT and a Lariat.
2015 XLT + Sport + FX4 = 2013 FX4
A 2015 Lariat is a higher trim than the 2013 FX4, but if we go with 2015 Lariat to get the leather and LED's...
2015 Lariat + 502A + Sport + FX4 + 20's + sunroof + Sony MFT NAV, etc.
= $53,320.
+ $1,080. destination
TOTAL: $54,515.

Where is the other $5,000 coming from?
I can add tow package, ITBC, extended range tank, power running boards, rubber floor mats, tailgate step, and it only comes to $56,760. including destination.
I can add every Lariat option including 360 cam, lane departure, adaptive cruise control, collision warning, inflatable belt, etc and get to $59k+ but then you're not comparing apples to apples when talking comparable 2013 FX4.
No disrespect to 05RedFX4, but he said an over $59k+ F-150 was equivalent to his 2013 FX4. But this 2015 Lariat with every option is closer to a 2014 Platinum or Limited.
