I did this when the EB first hit the streets and picked up a $500 discount on a new truck for it. I don't know if they are doing the discount this time but it would be worth a shot if you're planning on getting a 2015.

Good point. I also wonder what engine they will have available.

2.7L or 3.5?

I'm guessing the 3.5L will be sent to show the increased power since people aren't probably going to try to get good mileage on a test drive, or maybe they will provide the 2.7L to show it can really hang with mid-size V8's and get good mileage?

I'm not sure. When I took the EB test drive they had several trucks at one of the local dealerships. One was hooked to a trailer with a good sized tractor on it and the others were empty. I took the time to drive two trucks with and without the trailer. I'm guessing there will be a 2.7EB for sure and a 3.5EB all will be in XLT or higher trim. I wouldn't expect to see a 3.5 XL poverty spec truck there.

Ford updated the website. You can now register for your exact test drive. Click on "I want to test drive", enter your zip code and they will give you various choices for test drive locations and times. Then print out your VIP pass.

I'm signed up for October 21st.
