Out of interest, do you have an official payload number for your configuration?

I'm interested in seeing the payload difference between the Max Tow Lariat and the HD one (apparently you can't get the adaptive cruise control with the HD package)

Payload TBD

The Dealer Order Guide still shows "TBD" on payload for 4x4 3.5 EcoBoost.

See page 27 of the guide posted elsewhere in this forum.

That's allot of money... I myself will wait a year or so until we start seeing the typical $10K to 12K off MSRP here in Houston.

I would think for just a few dollars more a 250 could be had.
That woman from Ford looks like Diane Fienstein...........UHG, poor woman....

National discount packages are part of the MSRP and shouldn't be included as part of the discount.

From your other post:

"Full retail on this spec is $61,720.

Combined discount of $2000 for ordering Lariat Sport Appearance Package (863) and Technology Package (68T)/Active Park Assist (66A)/Adaptive Cruise Control (50A) for a new total of $59,720."

MSRP is $59,720 - $54,603 X Plan = $5,117 Discount.

It'll probably go a little higher by the time it arrives. I'm guessing $500-$1,500. cash back incentives.

And for some saying they would wait for discounts, the discounts will be $12k all day long like they have always been the past few years. But if I had the money I wouldn't want to a year. If I had the money I'd want to be one of the first with the new F-150. Why wait? Then I'd buy another one in a couple years when the 10 speed arrives.

And he could have bought a F-250 for a little more......and have gotten worse handling, worse mpg, old styling, old interiors, no aluminum, and none of the new features.

Discounts and Incentives

Yep...the X-Plan price get you any purchase incentives in addition to the Ford "friends and family" discount.

I'm in a Ford Lease on my 2013, so there will likely be a loyalty bonus of some sort for leasing another one, too.

Truck probably won't arrive until late November or December...so there's got to be a "Thanksgiving and Santa Claus" bonus....

I really need a "Gosh, what a groovy truck!" discount of 10 G's.....

Thanks - I was hoping that even though the order guide had TBD that the dealer had access to the information and may have shared it with you.

I wonder what is causing them to be still deciding what the numbers are.

Advertising Assessment 869

I don't like a surcharge for advertising! It would be better if they just hid it in the price! Really they need quit advertising so much if they need to charge that much per truck. I know who Ford is already and I plan to buy another Ford truck. I've owned 8 Fords in the past 28 years.

I think that's why I've suddenly seen so many Platinums on the road. A full blown Lariat is about the same price as the Platinum so might as well just go with it.

Style Difference: Platinum vs. Lariat

Prices are similar....but the reason I chose Lariat with the Sport Package is style.

I want the monochromatic look...similar to my 2013 FX4 with Appearance Package.

No shiny chrome or satin finish for me.

Yeah, when I saw that I started hoping a Plat wouldn't be too much more than his Lariat with all those added options. Here's to hoping!
