The all-new 2015 Ford F-150 will be the only light-duty pickup with a manufacturer’s snow plow prep option across all cab configurations.

When snow plow mode is activated via the push of a button, the vehicle temporarily turns off nonessential features to provide dedicated power for the plow.

5.0 only is the important part here. I imagine the 5.0 trucks will sell a bit better in the North.

 

Being equipped with the 5.0 was pointed out by Ford earlier. It cannot go in EB because of the airflow. The plow prep package, when it's been available, has been in the top V8. The news here is the F-150 will be first half ton with plow packages available for all cabs. The plow trucks on the new GM half tons are Regular Cab only.

 

That right there pretty much proves the 6.2 will be gone.

 

Will it able to add on super crew?

If no, will aftermarket plow package Void the warranty?
