We'll see exactly what Ford has to offer us early on Jan. 13 during its press conference reveal, and we'll be right here delivering all we know and find out. More to come.

Generations of trucks come much too quickly these days... I still mentally consider the '09/'14s a '04/'14 generation, if you can swap beds, front clips, mirrors, door handles, and other such materials, I never consider it much of a generation change, just a hell of an improvement over the current

None the less, I can't wait to see the new generations, or its MSRP prices.

I agree. It's always seemed like the only true generation changes in the last 20 years were in '97 and then again in '04.

If that first picture is accurate, the front end looks a heck of a lot better, although I thought Toyota Tundra when I first saw it.

I hope the new panels are at least slightly compatible if I ever want to swap to them . . . Then I'll have a 2006 2015

The last game changer was back in 2004. Everything since has just been a refresh in interiors/exteriors & recently drivetrains. I still think my 2008 is the best looking so far to date. I can tell you one thing however, hold onto your wallets cause they aint getting any cheaper! LOL

Agree. Best looking F-150 trucks were: 79' and 06'-08'. Honorable mention to 95'-96'. I wouldn't pass up a 2014 F-150 though, and I might trade. The build quality is definitely better on the 12'-14' trucks than our 08' trucks to say the least. Any of the Fords look better than the GM products; however the 2014 Silverado does look pretty sharp IMHO. The Silverado has not looked even remotely desirable since 98'. Dodge (I mean RAM....no sorry I mean Fiat ) has been going with that stupid looking front-end now for 20 years with each refresh. 06'-08' Ram seriously WTF were they thinking? Ugliest truck ever to roll off an assembly line in the history of the world.

Agreed, but may I remind you of the 2007 Toyota Tundra.

Especially the Stepside - this is so ugly even a Flareside lover would puke:

I in no way am protecting Dodge, nor would I want one, but I always liked the 2003/2008 look. The 2006/2008 look unique and hold that 'boss' look with professional attitude. I dig it, but I wouldn't own it. If I were to critique it I would say it looks like a Durango on steroids.

I prefer painted up trucks and no chrome grill surrounds or bumpers most generally. Dodge has that issue of too much chrome sort of like the 2011+ Super Duty.

Regardless of the rest of the truck, you have to admit Dodge has the coolest towing mirrors ever made.

I've always thought the Dodges look great. Their towing mirrors are absolutely the best, no doubt about it.

I think all Tundras have looked like s**t since day one and even the 14s do. They look like an ugly pug with an extra-smashed face. That flareside is the ugliest truck ever made.

One thing I hope Ford decides to add to the '15 F150 is the integrated step in the rear bumper the same way that the GM trucks are doing now... GM rarely has a good idea, and this is one worth copying if possible... Yes the Ford tailgate step was a good idea, but what if you need to get up into the bed with the tailgate up?
