2016 F150 upgrading tires
Hey everyone!
I am new to the forum and have only recently purchased my f150 XLT(about 2 weeks now) and am looking for some information on upgrades.
The dealers around here will not warranty any suspension parts if they install a level or lift kit so I am waiting until my warranty has expired before getting that done. However, I am looking at upgrading the tires as the truck only came with LT245/70R17 tires on alloy wheels.
What would be the biggest 17 inch tire I could install on these wheels without going aftermarket?
I would also be open into going with an 18 inch wheel and tire for the summer months and using stock size 17s for the winter.
Any info would be great. As for tires I've been looking into; what would be everyone's opinion on the Firestone Destination M/T or the General Grabber X3
Thanks

IF They want to be butt heads and try and prove your level/lift caused the failure they can then not repair under warranty. As mentioned check with another dealer as most will still honor the warranty unless you just do something crazy/stupid.
