4in lift fit 35x12.5

I just ordered a 2017 F150 supercab 3.5eb, 10speed to be delivered when I return home from my deployment. I was planning on doing a lift but am back and forth between a 6in or a 4in... I want to fit 35x12.5R20 and run 20x12 wheels... Would that setup fit on a 4in or would I need a 6in?

How does the 3.5eb preform with 35x12.5 tires mpg loss of power etc?

Also if you guys could post pictures of your lift and tire wheel combos that would be awesome!!

Almost without exception people that do a 4" wish they'd done the 6". You're obviously not running stock wheels so the offset is what will make the most difference in determining how much clearance you need. If you want the wider stance you will run somewhere from 0 to -44 offset. The more offset (negative) the more clearance needed. Don't worry about power with the 3.5TT. Yes you will lose around 2 mpg with the larger/heavier tires. What rear end are you going to run? I would suggest the .355 or .373's.

Do the 6" lift and don't worry about it. Sorry, no pics on hand.... will try and post up a couple of links.

It's so funny you say that because I told my wife just today that I was regretting getting the 4.5" suspension lift and wish that I had gone with the 6". It went something like this: I wish I had the extra inch and a half to which her response was yeah me too. hahahaha very funny dear.......

thanks for the advice man really helpful and I'm running the 3.55 electric locking axle I couldn't upgrade to the 3.73 through the STX trim package... I figure that would be plenty for 35s ...
