I agree with you, Winjet lights look a little more sharp. Please note the lights are good for trucks that are not equipped with factory projector headlights.

Optional LED conversion kit is available for the Low beam and High beam. Let me know your zip code and email if you would like to get a quote (you can send it in PM)!

Hi everyone, today we would like to talk about the safety of the lift kits, because this important element is often being overlooked.
As you know lift kits change geometry of the suspension which is reflected in how your truck handles and behaves on the road. It also means that not all lift kits are equal in terms of safety and handling characteristics, because the center of masses is raised. Not all of the lift kit manufacturers would tell you if their lift solution will maintain normal suspension operation, but for our project truck we decided to pick one that would be reliable and absolutely safe to use. Pro Comp Stage1 6" lift kit happens to be one of such kits and unlike many other brands Pro Comp actually tests their kits and makes sure they correspond with current safety standard FMVSS 126.

Their kit for 2015&UP F150 received certification that it meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 126 (FMVSS 126). FMVSS 126 requires the successful operation of electronic stability control (ESC) on all new vehicles under 10,000 pounds GVW. In order to demonstrate that Pro Comp’s suspension system did not negatively affect these systems on the new Ford pickup, Pro Comp had tests performed on an F-150 outfitted with their 6” Stage I suspension, 35-inch Pro Comp Xtreme MT/2 tires mounted on 20-inch Phantom Pro Comp Alloy wheels

Check more about Pro Comp lift kit safety test in this video:

How's it going everyone! Today we're here with another video in which we'll take a closer look at the wheels and tires on our truck. Even though the design of rims is quite a controversial topic, and it may never be everyone's cup of tea, we can confidently say that our F150 looks just right with this rims & tires combo and a 6 inch lift.

The rims are quite special because it's the very first off-road wheel designed by Asanti. This brand is famous for their high end wheels for premium sedans, sport cars and exotics. The AB811 wheel turned out to be really good looking and it comes in 3 sizes: 20x9", 20x12" and 22x12". For our truck we selected the top of the line 22x12" size and wrapped it with good old 35" Toyo Open Country tires. The coolest feature of these rims is the removable inserts in the wheel spokes. You can easily custom paint them or even wrap to personalize the design of the wheels if you want to.

More details about the wheels on our truck in the new video review from CARiD!

In order to complete the work in the wheels and tires department of our project truck we decided to cover the factory brakes with a set of aftermarket caliper covers. With the installation of large wheels, the calipers became exposed and clearly visible through the spokes, which doesn't always look good especially with dirt that builds up on them after taking the truck for a spin on a country road, so we picked the caliper covers to hide it and improve the cosmetics at the same time. Beside that, caliper covers give you that big brake look that we all love. It's not always necessary to invest much money in performance brakes if you are not gong to race the truck, so MGP caliper covers is a good solution for any project like this.

Watch how to install them on your truck in our next episode:

What do you think about this mod, and what else would you like us to install on this project truck?

Since we've already started to work on the exterior of our Ford, we've decided to go further and upgrade it with a set of awesome side steps. Nothing says off-road truck like a set of rock sliders on it, so we've choose one of the best examples of aggressive looking rock sliders on today's market – M1 Series Sliders from Smittybilt. They're crafted from durable steel into a 1.75" tubing, strong enough to fend off damage to the vulnerable rocker panels on your truck. Each step comes with a matte black textured powdercoat finish for maximum protection. The wheel to wheel design features dimpled steps and dual purpose rear slider flare in front of the bed, so you get easier stepping and access to your cab.

Easy to install with no drilling required, these sliders are designed for hassle free installation and rugged looks. As a result, Smittybilt sliders turn our Ford truck into the ultimate off-road getaway machine.

Today we are here with the next step for upgrading our Ford F-150 and we feel super excited about it. No other accessory will provide your truck with a tough, off-road style and an extra layer of defense between your truck and the trails better then an off-road bumper. We've searched for a long time and came up with another solid choice – Warn Ascent Full Width Front HD Winch Bumper. What do you think of when you hear Warn? Right, winches and toughness. Those 2 things are successfully combined in this bumper, along with refined, low-profile styling and ultra-durable 11-gauge steel construction.

It comes fully packed with utility features for both winches and lighting - this heavy-duty off-road front bumper accepts most WARN mid-frame winches up to 12,000 pounds and features integrated dual light ports to mount auxiliary flood or spot sights. This bumpers comes in a durable black textured powder coat, delivering up to 2X corrosion protection and also accommodates oversized wheels. The installation is a breeze - pre-drilled bolt holes and cutouts make it easy to mount a WARN winch, even after bumper install.

Watch our next episode to find out more:

With Warn Ascent Bumper installed on your truck you open up a world of possibilities for all your off-road adventures – you get the look you want, the rugged functionality you need and the highest level of protection. Now our Ford F-150 looks almost complete and ready to go for the next upgrade!
