New 2015 F150 XLT 5.0 cold weather starting

Just purchased a 2015 with 255 miles on it. Over the past two nights (truck is kept outdoors) it has been in the single digits and my truck wont start. I had the battery check and it was normal (or a touch low), the alternator check good and the starter pulled 270 amps and the guy at the auto parts store said the started was bad....Now I know things go be bad even if new but I was wondering if 270 for this truck indicates a bad starter?

Thanks
Chad

Why not take it to a dealer? That's what a warranty is for.

How did you ever make out with the dealer?

My 2015 5.0 13K miles seems like the battery is always dead. I found out when I was trying to do the FORScan programming and got errors. Then I hooked up my charger and it was drawing 6 AMPs(the max). Took several hours to come up.
This happened 3 times. Mine is garage kept, so the temp never goes below 50. It's been outside for the last two weeks (25deg) and it hasn't failed to start ... yet.

I wanna bring it in for service, but need it for DD for a while. Problem is, I KNOW what they'll likely say; "those fancy LED reverse lights you got on there must be wired wrong". We'll see.
