2018 f-150

there has been several people on the ecoboost forums and fb groups saying the truck was weak, nothing like they read. come to find out they had the n/a 3.5 instead of the ecoboost smart move to drop the base engine down a little bit so there is less confusion

I test drove a used EB one day while waiting on mine getting some service work done and was really surprised at how quick it was. I will give one a look for sure next time.

Ford is on top of their game right now, not just F150's but their entire line. Looks are subjective but I love the look of the 15-17's and like the 18's as much or more. Way to go Ford, even more engine selections and configurations, giving potential owners the ability to to select exactly what they need/want. If I was GM or Dodge I'd be nervous and scrambling
Just handed back my 2017 rental 5.0 crew cab 4x4 - amazing! Basic XLT but wow what a truck and what a motor. I love my 2009 but I can see an 18/19 F150 in the future for me.
Thank you Ford for continuing to be the leader in the truck market!

I thought I had my mind made up for my next purchase, a 2018 with the 3.5 Eco and 10 speed, but now I am not so sure.
With the new engine options and interior gadgets, I will have to look into it again.....I like the look of the new tailgates and tail lights, which is the one thing I do not like about the current ones.

All-new 12-inch digital cluster, not in the F-150 yet, but just released for the 2018 Mustang.
I know its not for everyone but its coming. And when it comes there will be more reasons to wait just "one" more year for the 2019/2020 F-150. It seems like I have been waiting just "one more year" for 10 years now. I seriously thought I was going all in on the 2018 but I may have to wait for the 2020 major update. The waiting never stops.

I read that the Mustang 5.0 is going to direct and port injection for the 2018 refresh. I highly suspect the F150 will too as that's the only other platform it's used on. That could make for a small bump in power and possibly an increase in compression ratio. I would guess a low 400hp number is their target.
