Katskinz install. ..

Couldn't be more impressed by the quality of their kits and like the fact that the entire seatime is leather unlike the factory, who's seats are leather with vinyl on back and sides. Unfortunately, the install is a big job. We took the air bags out, then the foam ,then snapped new covers into place. You'll definitely use muscles in your fingers you didn't know you had and plan on spending a full day to do the install. I'd recommend these to anyone , you won't be disappointed

Full replacements? They look great!

I hate how they (the industry) sells really nice covers, but they just don't fit well, and stay in place compared to actual replacements.

How much did those set you back to order?

Thanks bud. They are a full replacement and you have to peel off your old covers, etc. . The fit , quality, and comfort is amazing ! Only wish I would have done this sooner lol. These are on ebay for only 550.00 for the complete set, including headrest and jumper seat for those who don't have console. You won't be disappointed

Good price!

I assume they are specifically designed to play nice with the side (thorax) airbag in the seat?

I put katskinz in my 07. I bought them off ebay like you did, and paid 550 just like you. Came from a shop down in Louisiana IIRC.

My experience with them is that they are nice and well worth the money, however, the leather is not through dyed and will lose the color layer much quicker than OE. Ours have been losing the color layer at about 40,000 miles in high wear areas.

They are built to accommodate airbags.

Looks great! I've been looking at these kits as well. Just not sure that I want to do the install.
