Also gears and a limited slip would be nice. If you have the elocker then dont know about installing a limited slip, seems like the elocker is suited for offroad only. It should have a **** on the dash where the 4x4 **** should be if it has it
I only pump 93 in any of my past cars . As for a **** on my dash , I don't have anything on my dash like that

Then a custom 93 octane tune would make a huge difference. Again - leave the intake alone and put an exhaust on if you want more noise.

Check your window sticker to see what diff you have. I think limited slip is available in certain option groups.

I also wouldnt run a heavy wheel and tire combo, think I mentioned that already but I think it is really important.

I will check my window sticker tomorrow . Now with the heavy wheel topic , I wanted to run bigger wheel . Maybe 33" . Would that be too heavy ?

Bigger wheels and tires will cause you to lose some performance.

The AXLE code on the door jamb sticker will tell you what ratio it is, and if it's LS or E-lock.

Why not trade it for a 5.0? Put the mod money towards that.

Something worth looking at.

Get a 2wd 5.0 sport xlt.
I got on the Ford site and played around with it to see what I would have got if I didnt need this conservative looking 4x4 truck for work.

XLT Sport, 5.0 Sunroof, 302a, sync3 nav. Throw some leather seat covers, 2/4 drop, 22s, and cool grill.

But then again I am in the same boat and dont feel like spending money.

Hahahah i wanted the 5.0 but wasn't in my price range . The 3.5 ecoboost was in my price range though. Wish I did a bit more research but I still love my truck .
I'm still planning on modding it . Is the exhaust on this truck 2.5 in in/out ?
I got a buddy with a flowmaster 40 muffler sitting at his house and was wondering it its the same size as my muffler

Something you need to keep in mind. The 3.5 is a small engine without a lot of low rpm torque. It's a heavy truck and it needs torque, not horsepower to get moving. Exactly the opposite of your Civic. You need to be very careful not to do mods that kill low end torque. Fartmaster 40's can adversely affect low end torque.
