F-150 will not start in Park

My f-150 will not start in park. Will roll downhill in park. The gear indicator in dash lights each letter for R- N- D-M etc, but not Park. Will start in N. Any suggestions?

Brand new truck, warranty issue, take it to a dealer.

Sounds like the key is not working, try your other key and or have them both reprogrammed.

NOT a key issue, it starts in N. It's not going all the way into Park, this is a shift linkage issue. Dealer - warranty repair.

Welcome to the forum, hankagteacher! It sounds like dealer time to me. Additionally, I'll see what I can do to help with this starting issue. How many miles are on your truck?
