In my last 3 F150s I've been able to leave my key fob in the truck, lock it up and walk away, then simply us the door key pad to get back in. I hate carrying keys around. With the new starting system in the new 2015 can this be done?

 

You should be able to. I have a 2015 Ford Explorer Sport with the push button start/key fob. You can leave it inside the vehicle while it's running, just have to push the last 2 buttons on the door keypad simultaneously.
