From the pictures Manual posted it looks very similar to the 4door rangers sold overseas. Is this a whole new truck or rebadged ranger?

If they re-badge the Ranger to the F100, would its sales contribute to the "F-Series".

This thread made me think about my dads "new" 1976 F-100 Explorer. It had a longbed and a 360 with automatic. It also had an Explorer hood ornament.

My first truck was a 1980 F-100 given to me by my father. Good times.

The F100 will be a new truck. The pictures in the other thread are just a Ranger from some other part of the world.

Logically, I would assume yes. It has an "F" in front of the 100. I think that would allow it to qualify, and I bet that its a ploy to make numbers better.

Funny you say that, our old '78 F150 has an "Explorer" hood ornament.
