Didn't get to actually walk around it, and check it up close, but from what I saw in passing, it didn't look as bad as I had ranted and raved about, when I first saw it online ;-)
The badges looked pretty cool.
The one I saw was silver, which doesn't really lend itself to making a vehicle look "new and exciting"..... I mean uhhhh..... I think I've seen that color before....
I definately don't like the tail lights.... and I guess now they probably "all" have chrome trim ? That would sure be another PITA for anybody that wanted to go the blackout rout.
BTW, the grille might not look as bad, if it were available in black.... Actually though, if it "were not available in black" and a guy took it upon himself to make it that way, anyway, it would be even cooler in my book.
Anyway, after seeing the 09' in person, my opinion of it probably went from about a 2 out of 10, to a 5 out of 10.... maybe even a 7 with some help ;-)
I'm sure it's well built. It's a Ford :-) .....but I mean, just going by the styling.
But this is all just one far left whackos personal opinions anyway.
I just kind of felt like I needed to voice my my new feelings, since they have changed somewhat for the better.
yeah, the grille and tailights could be swapped out with aftermarket ones to make it look better. as far as the tailights, it looks like the Raptor and spy pics of future Harley model have smoked out tails.
