Just an FYI on 2009 Truck Color Selection (Matching)
I have been talking to a few cap dealers over the past few weeks, and confirmed today the same thing...
Many cap manufacturers will not gurantee color matching for certain colors because of the processes required. Specifically, Ford colors are one green (can't remember name, White Sand (Called White Chocolate by some manufacturers), and Razor Red. Apparently, the tri-coat system and the tinted clearcoat are an issue.
I originally questioned the colors because I'd like Razor Red next time, and wondered if the cap manufacturers would be hitting us up for additional cash like Ford is now for White Sand ($450) and Razor ($250) at the time of purchase. Ouch!
