2009 Test Drive

I drove a 2009 Lariat today. Comparing it to my 2007 Lariat was a little like comparing a room at the Marriott to a room at the Motel 6. The interior was much nicer. Great looking and great driving truck!

I did not notice much difference in power, but I was pretty easy on it too. The 6 speed shifts smooth. The truck just seemed quieter overall. Mine only has 35,000 miles and is tight, but this seemed to have more insulation or something as I did notice less noise at hi way speed.

I think calling the interior of your Lariat like a Motel 6 is a little extreme. Are the new ones that much nicer inside?

We'll id hope it'd be nicer since its a new model.. I'd hate to see ford building worse than what we have.. What did you expect..But Motel 6? OUT of line..

more of a comparison of the lariat leather to the king ranch leather ! But the interior is definitely a step up,,,, and the 04-08's had the nicest 1/2 ton interior with that console floor shift and leather trim seats - imo.
