Anyone else notice this on 09s...

They have simply removed the black plastic insert that used to be in the "rain gutter" and run all the way down the sides of the windshield to the front cowling. You can see the side edge of the windshield now... looks like they forgot to put that part on? Must not have been needed? I'm surprised it does't cause more widnoise from roof via side wind?

I noticed when I checked out my first 09 yesterday. Then I looked at pics today and they were all the same.
