Heard anything new about the BOSS?

I've been waiting for the release of the redesign cuz I'm really wanting a new f150 FX4 but I think I'm gonna hold off for the new engines... I know the Diesel is still in neutral but has Ford totally parked the BOSS?

From what I understand the boss is dead except maybe in a 3/4 ton. I would wait and see if Ford ever comes out with the 4v 5.0 for the trucks if you could wait. Thats what Im waiting on.

yeah I hear ya on that, I'm kind've disappointed in the new 5.4#'s... I like the exterior, interior, etc. just not the new engine specs.. So I guess I'll just have to sit and wait even longer... lol..

Yep, I think its a great truck but Im having a hard time being excited with the 5.4. Driven too many and Im just not impressed with it. Maybe the new transmission will help out.

The 6 speed will help a lot with towing and with climbing. But if you are looking for a faster F150, too bad...the 0-60 times are barely different from the 04-08 F150 with the 4 speed.

yeah, I'm likin the new 6spd trans, i jst dont think it's enough for me to spend all that money for only 10extra horses... I think I'll jst shoot for a discounted 08FX4 until Ford gets their $#!+ togethor on the new trucks. lol I'll admit tho.. my fav feature abt the new fx4 is the Detriot Locker! =)

The 5.0 Boss with 370 to 400 hp was the latest rumor.
