People with 09 F150s in here

How is the 5.4 with the new 6spd tranny? I am on the fence right now, my lease on my F150 expired a few months ago and I am still making payments. My 2nd truck lease expires in march. Why did you all jump on the 09s? Why didnt you want to wait for the 6.2? That's what I am waiting for.....although those new Rams with the Hemi are very tempting right now

Meh, didn't they cancel the 6.2 anyways? Ecoboost is the big push for Ford; 2010 ecoboost F-150.

The Raptor was originally scheduled to introduce the new Boss V8, but that program has been scaled back due to fuel-efficiency concerns. It's possible that the planned 6.2-liter V8 will still make its way into the Raptor, but a carryover engine from the current lineup is a more likely scenario.-EDMUNDS

and a read a new article that said it will most likely only be available in the super duty and not even

I drive a 6 speed 5.4 expedition which is about 500 or 600 lbs heavier then a crewcab 4x4. It drives ok, it isn't fast but it isn't awful either. I don't have the 20s either, just the cheap 18" wheels stock size tires. 1st gear is real deep which makes it seem faster then it really is. It is slower then a armada or sequoia (5.7) and seems about even with a suburban (5.3).
