Not sure if this has been posted before but figure I would post in case anyone wants to try and save the $300.00 replacement cost. My camera became blurry and unusable over the last few months. I've owned the truck since new in March 2013. Looking through this and other forums it seems to be a common problem that Ford has no fix for other than replacing the camera. Since I was about to plunk down the cash I figure I'd attempt to see what's with the cheap looking backup camera. It seems there is a wide angle lens covering the camera lens. One the screw cap was removed, I could remove the covering lens carefully with needle nose pliers. It seems moisture, dirt etc. can get between the lenses. Once cleaned, and back in, camera looking like new. I've included a few pics to show lens removal.
