Problems with mt 2104 F150 5.0 V8 w/GOAT stag II package
Hello, I'm new to the site and looking for some help
My 2014 F150 5.0 V8 has just under 40,000 miles. I bought it brand new with approx. 700 miles with a FORD dealership installed G.O.A.T stage II package.
I've always taken it to the same dealership I bought it from for oil change and service because they modified my truck and should know what type of maintenance it needs with the GOAT pkg. right?!!
WRONG. It started making this horrible 'creaking' noise in the front end at 39,000 miles so I go in to have it looked at. They charge me $100.00 and said the upper control arms needed grease. When I asked 'shouldn't this be done every 5000 miles when I get bring it in for the Ford Advantage oil change plan I've purchased?' the service tech tells me 'sometimes we forget to grease the parts in the GOAT package' They do their thing and send me on my way. Next day I can hear a faint vibration at 30-60 mph and throughout the week it's gotten progressively worse. I need some advise on how to proceed or what the problem might be? It's hard to tell exactly where the noise is coming from and now when I let off the gas pedal, it sounds like a military helicopter is flying underneath my truck along with the rumble strip noise!
I have made SEVERAL complaints at the dealership about my left blinker blinking fast randomly. They can't ever duplicate the problem so one Saturday afternoon I went there while it was happening. The guy in service said they were closing and nobody was available to look at my truck but he took some videos on his phone and told me they would call on Monday. NEVER HAPPENED. This was when I lost faith in Ford.
