2014 F150. I noticed an immediate humming noise on the way to work this morning and it was only making the noise when the AC fan was on. It got louder the more I turned up the fan.

Anyhow, I thought maybe some pastic wrapper or a napkin got sucked up in the blower so I removed the blower myself. The photos show what I found.

Anybody have an idea of what this could be?

 

Almost looks like a service cap for the condenser. Left side top of engine bay. There are two aluminum tubes....one thick and one thin.

 

Part of the blend door?

 

Nope, they screw on. I dont see any threads on that piece that he holding in his hand.
