2012 F150 front end wobble / popping

I noticed that the truck when in reverse and the wheel turned all the way to the left, there is a bobble feeling in the passenger front wheel area and slight popping noise. I haven't noticed it in other situations other than as described. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt

Is it in 4wd? If so, normal, you shouldn't do that.

Sounds it might be the upper ball joint going south. Ball joints make that popping sound when cutting the wheel.

I'd have it checked out.

Not normally. But I had a leaking strut on my truck at 30k. So anything is possible. It might just be defective.

Hi Matt,

It sounds like it's time for a trip to the dealership to have this noise checked out. Since you can replicate it pretty easily, take your tech on a test drive and demonstrate it for them. Come back and tell us how things go; I'll be here if you need my help.

Crystal
