Hey guys, I have my 2011 FX2 Scab 5.0 with 48k miles on it. I bought it used with 42k and I figured the ticking noise was normal (First time truck owner).

After reading all the threads on here, I got fairly nervous and have an appointment with CarMax service department for them to look at it.

Before I bring it in and start ranting and raving, figured I'd let you fine folks tell me it's normal or not. Appreciate the help.

 

I don't hear anything out of the ordinary.

My '12 ticks at times, but other times is super quiet.

 

Have them look at it for your peace of mind, but I think your fine. My former 11, made much more noise than that. I drove it for about 110K before wanting a new truck.
