Leaky rear shocks

So I started noticing a puddle of oil under the truck, so I crawled under to investigate. Turns out my right rear shock was leaking badly, apparently the seals were bad. So today I took it down to the dealer and they replaced both rears, they said the other side was starting to leak also. The repair was covered under warranty so it only cost me an hour of my time. My truck only has 12,900 miles.

Glad it didn't cost you anything. Weird though with that low of mileage. I wonder if they had a bad run of shocks?

Sounds like a good possibility.

The most I ever hauled was when I scrapped my old cast iron bathtub and the scale said it weighed 281 lbs. Never bottomed out, don't offroad it, truck is a street queen.
