Tire question for my dads 13' platinum

It's been years since I had my f150 and that long since I've been on here. I'm kinda out of the loop on half ton trucks now. My father n law has an 13' platinum and wants the biggest tire he can fit on it without lifting it. Told him it's prob not going to be too much bigger than stock, he's concerned about the ride of lifting it. I had a 2.5" level and an add a leaf on my old 04". Told him about just doing a mild level with a block in the back instead of an AAL. If he does an 1.5" level with a taller block what would be the biggest to
Ire he could put on his stock 20s? I've done some searching with little success. Does anyone have any pics with a smaller level and some slightly bigger tires? Thanks

Ok talked to him tonight. Think he's going with a 2" level most likely. What would be the tallest tire without rubbing on the stock 20" wheels?

On a stock height Platinum he could go with a 275x60x20, a 285x60x20 or squeeze on a 305x55x20. Leveled mildly he could run a 275x65x20 or maybe a 295x60x20. I'm running the Bilstein leveling shocks set at 1.5 inches and running 275x60x20's which are 33x11 tires.

2 more views...I went with P rated tires and a mild amount of lift to retain gas mileage and for use as a daily driver. I still can get over 19 mpg hwy and 16 running around town.

Mine aren't 20" rims but the tire is 295/70/18 which is 34.3 and 11.6 wide or so. No rubbing in any position at all. I also have 5100s and the fronts are set to highest setting and I put 3" blocks in the rear.

Thanks. I actually measured his tires today which are 275/55/20 if I remember correctly and are just under 31" tall and look tiny on the truck

PawPaw, off-topic but I have to comment on your lower matched grill....very sharp!

Thank's Moose...it's called a "Boost Bar" and fills in the ugly gap in the front. Matches the upper grille pattern also.
