Looks like I have brake work in my future...

Front passenger side down to 10%+/- pad
Drivers side at 90%

Had an issue with the passenger caliber hanging up a while back, did a rebuild on it. going to have to dig deeper into what the problem is.

Get a new caliper, don't even screw around with it.

I think they are like 80 bucks.

I had the same issue you had but I noticed the increased amount of brake dust on my drives side rim. It happened to be seized up when I went to check it out.

The way I see it is the issue is more than likely in the caliper, that said cheapest fix would be just get a new FoMoCo one and slap it in there. Saves time and money, it was worth it to me at least. Also if it happens to remain the same after you replace it you will know for sure it's not the caliper and need to go another route.

I too like Coy have been warpping rotors like mad since new.

I too had warped rotors at 30k on my 2013 platinum. One would expect a $50k truck to have decent rotors at least? One dealership refused to do anything even though I have the PREMIUM service AND extended warranty. The second dealership also refused at first. I then just told them fine...This will cause me to never buy another ford again and I have been a ford owner since 16. I am 46 now. They then offered to turn the rotors, which I dont think is the right thing to do since rotors should not warp at 30k with normal driving. I wonder when FORD is going to own up to this. Many people having the same problem...Is a problem. I know that I will be back in for brake problems again soon since turning them is only a band aid to the real problem. Should that happen, I will be done with Ford and take my chances with other problems from other manufacturers... 8) Sad really that dealerships/FORD always deny deny deny.......

Same here with my '09 @45k miles. Badly warped front rotors with more than 1/2 the original brake pad life left. Didn't have any choice at the time and had them replaced at the dealership. I don't believe in turning rotors anymore as they are so thin to begin with - my guess is that is part of trying to reduce as much weight as possible.

And with other vehicles I have had nothing but bad luck with aftermarket rotors.

There are heavy duty aftermarket rotors out there that are a lot better than OEM.

Id bet the Vato Zone rotors would last longer than these crap ford rotors.

Mine does this too, has since day one. I'm a few days shy of 1 year and I have just under 10K on it. On a related note, my 07 had to have both front rotors and pads replaced at 25K, no warpage. The pads just wore down completely and were cutting into the rotors.

My fronts warped after a hard drive through the mountains. I put up with it for a long while till I finally got fed up. I went with EBC Yellow Stuff pads all around and PowerStop rotors on the front. The EBC rear pads have quite a bit more contact area than the stock ones have. The front pads do make dust but the truck stops like it should now.

What's the difference between the yellow stuff pads and the green stuff pads?

I know the yellows are more aggressive and are supposed to stop better. Exactly how much better I'm not sure.

They stop a little better, but brake dust is a lot more.
