Anyone installed a FOMOCO drop down dvd?

Thinking about installing a drop down DVD system from one of the multiple drop down factory options from another model. For now, I need to run the fm modulator or something. It simply has to play sound through the truck speakers. My kids are too young to keep wireless headphones on for long, and wouldn't be able to put them back on alone.

Has anyone attempted this?

I do not have a sunroof, I actually hate them. I also have the base stock stereo in my 2010 FX4.

My headliner has a odd downward drop in the center from left to right, so any options would have to be narrow enough to fit that space.

I know there are many aftermarket systems out there, but I was thinking of finding a factory option from a wrecker for dirt cheap, instead of dropping a grand on the latest Alpine option.

All opinions welcome, even the ones that say "c'mon ya cheap bastage".

Thinking about a more permanent install. Portable or even removeable will wind up broken in no time. Kid is 2.
