2011 f150 driver window problems

2011 f150 fx4 5.0 supercab front driver window quit on me. The other three work fine. Don't think its the switch's cause I swapped them with my fathers truck and no fix grabbed a new window regulator tried plugging it in before installing and nothing. Checked the fuse and its good.. Any ideas guys ?

If your switch worked on his truck then its likely a fuse, relay or wiring.

These are known to have bad drivers door wiring harnesses.

I thought mine went the other day took 4 or 5 times clicking the button to get it up in the rain. Jiggle the harness coming from the foot well to the door.

The fuse is good got power on both sides of that. Where is the relay for the window I would assume it is the accessory delay relay behind the right kick panel which I would assume is good cause the rest work. I will try playing with the harness today

The wires in the bellows between the door and the door jamb by the kick panel have a tendency to break from repeated flexing. I would examine them next if I were you.

Looked through the wires in the door jam didn't see anything also inspected the plug didn't see any corrosion or anything I'll have to pull the harness right out and go through it

Pulled the door apart again went through the harness couldn't find anything suspicious. Seeing I know its not the switches or the regulator I bought a door harness thinking that's the only thing left hopefully it will take care of it it will be in on Monday. I have my doubts it will fix it but I would rather try the 50 dollar harness before I start having to tear in to the wiring inside of the truck. Any ideas of problems between the fuse box and the door? I know its not the fuse it's good got power on both sides of it not a relay cause the other 3 windows work. Any body have the correct wiring diagram by any chance? 2011 f150 fx4 supercab. Thanks

Well earlier on my way home to change the harness in my door I hit the switch and I can hear the window motor buzzing for 1 to 2 seconds in either direction. It was not doing this before today I would've heard it when I had the door apart. So I changed the door harness to no avail. So now I'm stumped guess seeing the window motor is buzzing maybe I'll just try the window regulator again. I also thought the window may have been stuck so I tried pulling down a bit and loosening up the regulator assembly also to no avail. Any more ideas?

The motor itself may be dead. Just because it buzzes doesn't mean it's working.

Here s an update I did some more digging into my door and started doing some more testing on wires the red battery power wire the hooks to the door motor says its got 12v according to my power probe if u hit the switch that red wire cuts out and voltage drops severely if u put 12v to the wire through the power probe while using the switch the window works so the problem lies in that red wire that is battery power which runs to the driver window fuse and then to the accessory delay relay. And the bcm. So I guess the next thing to do is try and measure resistance through that wire to see if the red wire through the truck harness is the issue or the dreaded expensive BCM

Well through an extensive amount of headaches sweat and resistance testing with help from some friends narrowed it down to a bad battery positive wire in the main truck harness. Which I cannot afford time or money to tear out or pay some one to tear out and go through. So I found where the wire is at the harness in the cab by the door and the other and at the plug for the BCM and I fished a new wire and spliced it in. So now the window works and amazingly so does everything else. Hopefully I'll have more money in the near future to fix it right but for the time being it will do
