Anyone running 55w HIDs in their fogs??

If so, problems?? Doing a headlight and fog conversion and really wanna go with the 55w in the fogs for the extra brightness, but don't wanna have problems. Has anyone done this?

With the smaller round fogs, it is not a good idea to put low beams (55w) bulbs in. They have a tendency to melt the lens.

If you go true HID's then you wont have to worry about the heat.

HIDs still make heat, not as much as a halogen 55w bulb, but IIRC the stock fog bulbs aren't 55w though. IMO HIDs, especially 55w ones have no place in a stock halogen housing not designed for that amount of light output.

I agree with you on the light output - I was only stating that true HID's wont melt the fog housing like halogen bulbs would (55w).
