I'm back in an F150 AGAIN!
Hey all,
I've been around for a long time and am on my fourth F150. Started with a 2001 step side 4x4, 2004 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4' 2005 Screw xlt 4x4, and now to a 2011 f150 crew cab 4x4.
The new truck as I said is a 2011 F150 Crew Cab XLT 4x4. I bought it last week in mint condition with 48k miles on it. I have since installed a 2" leveling kit, 305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers G2's, and 20x9 +20 Fuel Mavericks. I love the truck. It has a 5.0 V8 and I'm now looking at tinting windows, weather tech floor mats, and putting some performance stuff on the motor.
I work as a police officer, so the truck is only driven on weekends as I have a take home patrol car. I'm excited to start on this new project and hope to learn a lot about this new truck through you guys.

Yes, nice truck!
I, too, just recently returned to the F150 fold, having taken several years off because of the exorbitant gas prices in Cali at the time (previous F150s were a 2001 SC Lariat, 2004 SC Lariat, and a 2009 SC Platinum).
But here in Tx, it's so cheeep plus trucks are also relatively cheeep and plentiful, the calling was too hard to resist!

I never knew that the 6.2 was offered in non-Raptors; I would now always prefer the 6.2 over any other engine package. Unfortunately, Ford discontinued the 6.2 in the the 2015+ line, and I doubt it will ever be brought back due to increasingly demanding CAFE requirements.
Other than headers and custom tunes, I won't be modifying the truck in the foreseeable future due to other priorities in life. But some year, I will do a 2" front level (likely adjustable shocks ala Bilstein) and 33" on 22" wheels.
