Just after 500 miles on odometer - I towed a 1961 Willy's Pickup like this one:
http://www.jpmagazine.com/featuredve.../photo_01.html
I used a dual axle car hauler with trailer brakes... the distance was from Wyoming to New Mexico. Tow / Haul mode made the tow experience the best I've ever had with a load that large. I think Ford did a great job w/ integrating engine braking with the cruise control....
No pics.

I haul my '10 Polaris Sportsman XP 850, usually just on a double wide snowmobile trailer, or in a 17 ft inclosed. I also pull a 24ft car hauler a few times throughout the summer...

I haven't hauled anything but my *** up and down the highway, so far, 7,000 miles. That little engine runs like a scaled ape and gets great gas mileage doing it. I am very pleased with it at this point.

2012 Keystone Cougar High Country 326RES Travel Trailer [ 35'4" L x 8'W x 11'8" H, 8,000 empty, 3 slides].
I haven't run across a scale, but I'd figure I've got 5-600 lbs of stuff in here, and that makes my GCWR over by a couple hundred pounds.
Pulls great, stops great.......only downside is going straight at constant highway speeds, the rear end starts to wiggle on me.....get around 8mpg, or 200 miles per tank.
I'm looking at getting a 2012 F150 FX4 Ecoboost with Max Tow and Heavy Payload, which would give me payload along the lines of a F250.
....or looking for a used 2011 F250 Lariat Diesel......but don't really want F250 as my daily driver....

Towed the 40 about 350 miles round trip last weekend to gilmer, tx. about 75/25 city highway mix on the way their and a 50/50 mix on the way back and got 8.7 mpg. I do drive 70-75 on the interstate towing so i still think 10 mpg is possible going around 65 mph, will be checking that theory in a few weeks when i tow it to houston and will report back.

Just got back from NW of austin last night towing the same load again. Running 65 mph and no cruise control i got 11.6 MPG. HUGE improvement and very pleased with the trucks towing. On the way their i had gotten 10.3 going 70.

Needs to be bumped with some more input from others.
Just got back from nw of austin again, on the way there i had about the same load as above but was doing around 70-75. Got right around 10 (can't remember the specific number). On the way back go slightly less than 10, but had about 300 lbs more in the bed and was traveling more towards 75 the entire time.
Right now, I have about exactly 20% of the trucks miles towing. In the past 5k miles, the truck seems to have picked up some power and tows even better than when i first started towing with it.
