I got my chrome mirror caps, and chrome door pillars. Just waiting for the rear wheel wells and I will be happy.

no offense but it looks like you just drove through autozone and the chrome stuck.

I think you are going over board, mild chrome looks alright but getting carried away can happen easily.

I'm done with the chrome. I like the way it looks, I'm satisfied. Today I was at the Ford dealership getting my oil changed and got alot of compliments on the truck, a lot of people liked the chrome and headlights/ tail lights. I come on here and its a hate fest haha! Maybe its one of those things where you see it in person and it doesn't look at bad to the eye. Nevertheless though, I accepted your thoughts. Not every mod is for every person.
Take care buddy.

I agree, projectors look good if done RIGHT. Retrofit real projectors.

The door trim and caps actually tie into that blue well. I don't think that looks bad at all. I do prefer the HD lights front and rear though.

Don't worry about it. Most people here want everything blacked out, so you can't see any features on the truck. You usually can't even tell what kind of wheels they have unless they're in bright sunlight with no shadows. To me that's boring and they all look the same.

I don't like excessive chrome either, but most of the stuff you did looks good. I'm just not a fan of those taillights. The stock ones have enough chrome, IMO.

I agree with you to a point. I do like blacked out trucks, but I do think they are becoming way to common. It seems (atleast around here) everyone blacks out their truck, and puts either 18 or 20 inch black rockstar rims on there. Just not appealing to me anymore. Not saying I dislike all blacked out trucks, but the some I do. I like your truck alot, I like the grill insert. I think it looks good with those rims. I really do think Ford did a great job on this truck.

I think you can kill a ride with too much chrome, I don't think I hit that point on my truck, for some maybe yeah I guess I have lol. The reason I wanted new tail lights is 1) I wanted to seat my tail lights different than all the F150's around here 2) I like them 3) I like the LED 4) I wanted to get ride of all the red on the tail lights without blacking out the tail lights. I honestly believe they look better in person than in picture. Below I'm going to post a picture with them off and on from the side and a back view with them on.

i like what you've done. i like chrome, heck if my truck had chrome bumpers i would of done more chrome work then paint. what i am not feeling is the tailamps tho. The chrome era of when tailamps looked good was in the late 90s early 2000s. i was going to suggest candy painting them red, but you just stated you don't like red

i did the chrome pillar post thing a while back, then took em off and trashed them last year in august when i threw paint on the truck all over the place (handles, mirrors, plastic step pads, cowl, valance) enjoy your truck after all like another member said, the general public here blacks out here and there more so then applying chrome, btw i like that blue!

Dang, that's a bunch of chrome! Although there was a time when I liked chrome, I don't care for the chromed-out look these days. Sorry man...just not feeling it. Remember...you asked!

But I can't see it from my house, and you really seem to like it. So I say, rock it out!

Different..... not my cup of tea, but enjoy it. The chrome on the pillars just doesn't flow with anything in my opinion.... its just there.....

I wouldn't say the majority likes blacked out trucks on this site... not starting a pissing contest though... haha

so how do you like the headlights at night? I know that the stock headlights are nothing to be praising, but just curious if you think they are good or better than stock? are you running Silverstars or another good bulb?

I bet if you paint the Grille surround that would look real good with the Chrome.
