What did you order? Mine will be tuxedo black,5.4 everything except leather, nav and the back up camera. My order has been in since July and it's killing me waiting for it.

Sterling Silver, Screw, 4.6 3v, sync, and tow...thinking about reverse sensing and the camera. I've been wanting to order since the beginning of August, but we've been waiting for the finances to get in order. It's been killing me too. The wife and I have been sharing a vehicle for about two months...it ain't easy being green...in fact it sucks!

I heard this week that the FX2 will not be built until Job 2 which would be Dec. or Jan. I am trying to verify it with another source since no one seems to have a definite answer.

I'm still looking for pics, lol. Most northern dealers (NYC) dont really have a clue about trucks. I went to two dealers and they didnt have any brochures on the 2010

The dealers up here in the Great White North eh are excited that Ford has brought the FX2 back. It is a very good seller around here.

^really, I thought there would be nothing but 4x4's up there? I've only seen 1 FX2 here, it must have been a custom order because dealers never stock 4x2 models here (Pittsburgh).

There are a lot of 4X4s around here ( Windsor Ontario) but we get pretty mild winters and 4X2 trucks are very popular. Probably a 50/50 split. I see 2007 and 2008 FX2s everyday.

Now the Ford rep says production starts the week of Nov 2. By the time I get my truck that will be close to 4 months.

I was told the same thing by my rep Bossey. He said November. My order number is in the 7000s so I imagine I might have it for Christmas? Also, Screwbuilder, I've been searching high and low for a website that gives the status of the ford production plants (ie quantity built per day, what order number, ...) I know some of this is really specific, but what kind of quantity rolls out the door each day on the f150 line?

I know someone that works at the Kansas City plant -- they do about 500 units per shift. They had two shifts and were going to add a C shift, but they just laid a bunch of temps off so I don't know if that would change anything. So between the KC and Detroit plants they should be able to crank them out pretty quick. I also heard that the HD F150's were backed up also because of an issue with the seat supplier.

My FX4 was ordered on the 9/11, built the week of 9/21, and delivered to the dealer 09/26.

We recently went to just 1 shift and build about 550+ per day.
Today I asked someone on the launch team about FX2 production and he said they haven't heard anything as far as a date. My guess would still be it will launch with Job 2.
